Communication is Key

It has come to our attention that a large number of emails are being returned, inhibiting our ability to communicate with you, the members.  If you have not received an email message in the past two weeks, please do the following:

If you have used your USPS email, the system will reject the Union's email. Please use your private email. Rest assured we do not share your email with anyone, especially marketers.

If you have used a private email, make sure that our emails are not being placed in your spam folder. Mark the emails as not spam, or place in the white list.

Check the email in your profile, and make sure it is entered correctly.

Timely communication is integral to our mission, to keep you, the member informed. Please help us help you.

Farewell to Jeff Kehlert
Updated On: Aug 27, 2018

Jeff Kehlert falls short of his quest for National Vice President of APWU

Jeff Kehlert, whom our local endorsed for Vice President, fell short of his quest for the office of National APWU Vice President. For now, that means Jeff will no longer be representing the members of our great union. It is a loss that will be greatly missed.

As of now, we are not sure what plans Jeff has for his future. It is our hope that he remains somehow involved with our union, with helping our members, and continuing the great work he has done, in some capacity.

It is worth noting that our local overwhelmingly supported Jeff in the election. While we did not have the voter turnout we hoped for, we exceeded the national turnout by a large margin. The officers of this local thank those who took the time to vote, to be involved and have a voice in who leads this great union.

We congratulate those unionists who were elected to their respective positions, and we look forward to working with them to advance the interests of our members.
