Note that our May General Membership meeting is Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 7 pm.

As an update to this meeting night, which was at the request of our PSE members: We had 1 (one) PSE attend the membership meeting. This meeting was held on a weeknight to accomodate the many PSEs who said they could not attend Sunday meetings because they were working.  We would like to hear from our PSE members regarding the lack of attendance.  Was the meeting not publicized enough? Was there other extenuating circumstances that prevented more PSEs from attending?  As a local union, we strive to meet the needs of our membership. Feedback is an ideal way to accomplish this. Please let us know how we can help you attend your meetings.

I apologize to those who have received texts and/or emails stating the meeting is Sunday. I thought I had corrected the website messaging, but apparently not yet.

Members, please note this (especially our PSE members):

We are having this meeting on Wednesday night to try to address concerns our PSE members expressed to us concerning attending meetings.  PSEs have maintained that they could not attend our Sunday meetings because they were required to work the Sunday Amazon hubs.  This is the opportunity for our PSEs to show that they want to attend our local union meetings, and that working Sundays was the reason they have not.

For all of our members, these meetings are for you, to stay informed, to be able to ask questions of each of the leaders of this local. It is your opportunity to express any and all concerns you have regarding the issues of the day.  Make it a point to attend. Let's show that we have members who show up and get involved.
